Pator Kelly has served in international missions for the last seven years as Principal of the International Christian School and Pastor of the Community Church in Uijeongbu, South Korea.
"My heart cry," Kelly admits "is seeing God's church grow and helping God's people to grow in Christ-likeness. I enjoy working with people in the community and finding opportunities to introduce them to Jesus Christ."
Kelly and his wife of 28 years, Cathy, became a part-time ministry team at SPBC on 21 March 2006 as Pastor Kelly's contract with the International Christian School came to an end.
Cathy Weaver became the Secretary of Shannon Park Baptist Church on June 13th 2006. Together with her husband, Pastor Kelly Weaver, they both began serving Shannon Park on March 21, 2006. She serves the Lord as the 3rd - 5th grade Sunday School Teacher and serves as the Women's Ministry Director. She also teaches Kid's Choir.
She and Pastor Weaver are originally from Memphis, Tennesse but now make their home in Fairbanks, AK. They have 3 grown children, one adorable grandson, Welsey and a beautiful granddaughter, Emily Grace that was born on July 28, 2006.
Cathy's life verse is II Corinthians 12: 9 "And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may dwell in me."
David and his brother Jon are co-owners of Alaska Feed Co. and PetStuff. He's married to Callie, has two young children, Vance, and Kendra. David enjoys playing penny-whistle, piano, guitar, drums, and left-handed malocclusal Orkian mouth harp?! (we don't know either). He also enjoys collecting walking sticks, wood-working, hunting, fishing, skiing, and Coalition of Historical Trekkers (Black-powder era activities). David's favorite Bible Verse: "...actually I don't have a favorite."
