Keanon Hurst serves as a pastor at Shannon Park Baptist Church. Once lost in addiction and incarceration, Keanon was radically transformed by the gospel after coming to faith in Christ through the faithfulness of a local pastor at a jail Bible study in 2015. Since then, he has devoted his life to proclaiming the truth of God’s Word and shepherding others with compassion and conviction.

Keanon earned his M.Div. through Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Ruth have four children and are passionate about making disciples, fighting sin together, and building up the church through faithful preaching and intentional relationships.
